Cordwood Covers™: The Perfect Solution for Your Firewood

The Log Cover Tarp That Stands the Test Of Time

Don't leave your firewood logs out in the elements where they can become waterlogged or attract unwanted pests, protect them with a Cordwood Covers™ cover. The 8' log cover is the perfect accessory for anyone using the Holz Hausen stacking method to store their firewood.

This kit includes a cover, base guide, and straps, making it easy and quick to construct your woodpile. The base will keep your wood nice and dry and off the ground, while the cover will keep your logs dry and protected from the rain, snow, and wind. Nobody likes wood rot or fungus!

The log cover tarp is made of heavy-duty materials with integral ripstop reinforcement and is designed to last for years. It's also UV resistant so that it won't fade in the sun. The base template starts the woodpile and includes four strap buckles to anchor the cover in place. The size of this heavy-duty cover is 8 feet in diameter and comfortably fits two cords if you stack 5 feet high.

This product comes with a 2 year warranty.

Why Choose Cordwood Covers™?

It is essential to protect your firewood from harsh weather conditions. Severe rain and snow can damage your logs, causing them to rot or dry out unevenly. Therefore, using a high-quality cover ensures your firewood stays dry and ready for use. Additionally, a durable cover can extend the lifespan of your firewood, making it a smart investment for any home.

Features of the 8 Ft Firewood Log Cover

This 8 Ft Cordwood Covers™ cover is designed in the popular Holz Hausen style, which not only offers superior protection but also adds aesthetic value to your outdoor space. It features robust materials that resist tearing and fading, ensuring longevity. Because it accommodates over two cords of wood, it’s perfect for families who frequently use firewood for heating or cooking.

Easy to Use and Maintain

Using a Cordwood Covers™ cover is straightforward. Simply place it over your stacked logs, and it will shield them from environmental factors. It is lightweight, so you can easily remove or reposition it as needed. Additionally, maintaining this cover is a breeze; a quick clean with a damp cloth is often sufficient, ensuring that your wood remains both protected and visually appealing.

How it works

Mark, cut, stack, burn.

Four steps from raw log to ready firewood. Anyone can do it — the Mingo does the math for you.

  1. 01
    Mark the log

    Mark the log

Drop your spray-paint can in, lock the trigger, and roll along the log. Bold marks land at every cut size.

  2. 02
    Cut clean

    Cut clean

Run your chainsaw to each painted line. No tape measure, no guessing — every cut the same length.

  3. 03
    Stack tight

    Stack tight

Identical lengths stack tighter and stand straighter. Your cord doesn't collapse halfway through winter.

  4. 04
    Burn ready

    Burn ready

Right-size for fireplaces, fireboxes, wood stoves, and furnaces. Toss it in — it fits the first time.

  • I've been cutting firewood for 25 years and this little tool changed everything. I mark a full cord's worth of logs in the time it used to take me to measure ten.

  • The 16" Mingo is now permanently in my truck. Friends ask me what brand it is — I hand it to them and tell them to try it.

  • Family-owned company, made in America, built to last. Best money I've spent on a tool this year.
