How does The Mingo Marker work?

Drop your standard inverted spray-paint can into the marker, lock the trigger, and roll the wheel along the log. The wheel circumference matches the cut size (14", 16", or 18"), so it lays down a bold paint mark at every cut point. No tape measure, no math.

What kind of paint should I use?

Any standard inverted-tip spray-paint can. We recommend high-visibility orange or yellow so the marks stand out against bark. No proprietary refills — use whatever's on the hardware store shelf.

Which size should I buy?

Pick based on your stove or fireplace:
14" — smaller fireplaces, stoves with narrow fireboxes
16" — most home wood stoves and inserts (most popular)
18" — larger furnaces, outdoor wood boilers
If you cut for multiple stoves or sell firewood, the bundle gets you all three plus an extra trigger.

Is The Mingo made in the USA?

Yes. Designed, manufactured, and assembled in the United States by a family-owned company.

Will it work with green/wet logs?

Yes — spray paint sticks to fresh-cut wood just as well as seasoned. In fact most cutters mark green logs before bucking so cuts are precise before stacking to season.

How long does shipping take?

Orders placed by 2pm ET ship the same business day. Standard U.S. shipping arrives in 3–5 business days. Orders over $50 ship free. International orders ship via USPS, typically 7–14 days.

What's your return policy?

30-day no-questions returns on unused markers in original packaging. If your marker arrives damaged or has a manufacturing defect, we replace it free — send us a photo and a new one ships the same day.

Do you sell wholesale to retailers?

Yes. Hardware stores, outdoor outfitters, equipment dealers, and lumber yards can apply through our Become a Mingo Dealer page. Healthy margins, fast reorder, free marketing assets.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes — we ship to Canada, the UK, Australia, New Zealand, and most of the EU. International shipping is calculated at checkout based on destination and order weight.

How do I clean the Mingo?

Wipe the wheel with mineral spirits or paint thinner to remove dried paint buildup. Don't soak — the steel parts will rust. Store dry and the marker lasts decades.
